The first of many.... hopefully!

To start off, I am not much of a blogger, so this will take some getting used to. I have decided to create this blog to help document my Semester Abroad in Limerick, Ireland. I leave Sunday morning to start this incredible journey! I cannot believe it is already here. I have always loved looking back at old things I have done in the past years after it happened. That is the purpose of this blog and me attempting to update it for the next four months. I want to be able to keep the experiences I have and the memories I made to be able to look back at in the future. There have also been a couple people who have said they would love to hear about my experience as I am overseas. I thought this might be the best way, so I don't blow up Facebook with it all :).  Basically this is going to be used to record my time in Ireland for me in the future, but also for any of my friends and family who would like to see it as well.

  1. Gah! I'm so freaking excited for you! This blog is a great idea. I would maybe throughout the semester just remind people that you have a blog with updates and stuff to check out because everyone might not have seen your initial post, ya know?
Anyways, I'm really excited to see what you do, where you travel, the friends you meet, and of course how much beer you're going to drink ;). C'mon it's Ireland! :P
Anyways x2, my baby sister the world traveler... So proud of you and happy for you. Going to miss you a lot though :(. It's only one semester, though... I'll try to survive.
    Love you infinity and beyond!

    Best sister everrrrrrrr,
    Kylie

  2. Hi Kiana, Oh, we are so excited for you as you begin this amazing adventure. I looked up in the sky on Sunday and wondered if one of those planes flying overhead was taking you across the pond. Thanks for posting a blog and sharing your impressions and experiences with us. Enjoy it all! Love from Anne, Andrew, Ben and Annika

  3. Kiana,
I'll add my congratulations as you undertake this journey into another culture. I'm looking forward to hearing about it. One thing a friend told me many years ago, when I was heading overseas--when you get lonely, remember that the same beautiful sky you see is also overhead for those across the ocean. God protects us all. Love, Mary
